although it's quite lame, BEAUTY AND THE GEEK is fun to watch! hahaha, the producers pair these extreme geeks up with pretty ladies, and they'll have to complete challenges together. hahaha, my fav pair is cher and josh, cos josh is damn funny. he has really big red hair and sideburns, gets anxiety attacks, and once he even slept in the closet because he was scared of sleeping in the room as cher. lol. tyson is really cute too. he's this asian looking guy, and he can solve a rubikcube in 18 seconds. and solve it behind his back. and solve it blindfolded. total genious.
i tried playing with a rubik cube once, and after trying for two whole days, i couldnt solve it at all. hahaha. i'm lousy.

I HATE(D) BROADBAND! was pissed at it earlier, cos it was freaking slow, and i cant even see pages loading. jinyu and i whined about it tgt. hahaha. and then i read the papers.

day two SENTOSA! hahaha. but it was a bummer, cos all the walking ard was tiring, and then it started to drizzle. :(
but afterwards we headed to VIVO and i finally saw jinyu after like ages! she's becoming prettier and prettier. caught NIGHT AT THE MUESUEM with twleve others. justina, keli, jinyu, huiyen, guanheng, bronson, henry, samuel, justin, yichun, maurice and yizhe. we dominated the first row until some irritating couple came along. lol. the show was pretty good. and we almost missed the last train home. hahaha. thankfully not.

had conferencing with the girls last night. it was hilarious. i called in, and justina told me her sec sch friend was in the conf too. so, i was like o.0 and kept really quiet. and then, i asked for her name, and justina told me 'SARA-ANN'. i was like secretly wondering what kind of wierd name that was. hahhaa until i realised that 'SARA-ANN' was actually KELI that guniang, lol, and justina terrorized us with her amazingly mercenary like laughter.
i went off the conf at around 2 am (they were still going at it) and goodness gracious, woke up at 3 plus in the afternoon. talk about beauty sleep huh. hahaha.

december sure is a gloomy month. because what comes after it is january, and january means school, and school means misery. that makes me a very, very miserable girl. besides the school reopening trauma, today was especially traumatising. the weather was just HORRIBLE. awoke at 0600 in the morning, to find my whole world engulfed in darkness. IT WAS RAINING LIKE CRAZY out there. and there was supposed to be trng at 0800. i was almost imagining us training out on the field with the rain. it wasnt a pretty thought. had to msg coach for help. and trng was cancelled.
i remembered smiling a little, then immediately falling asleep.
when i awoke at 1100, it was still raining endlessly.
and for the whole of today, it just rained, and rained, and rained.
how am i not supposed to feel gloomy? :(

XMAS is approaching, and many plans have been drawn up! shall enjoy the remaining days until jan the third, when all hell breaks loose. okay i'm exaggerating, but SCHOOL does NOT appeal.

i know it sounds loserish, but i'm hooked on the holidays. yupp, i'm a no-life person, so i spend half my day sleeping, 1/4 pigging out, and the rest of my time on the PC. nice way to spend the holidays eh? speaking of holidays, i havent even touched my holiday homework yet. no, i should say, i havent even printed them out. shit.
thursday was a crazy day for me, i knew sth was wrong, but then i just tried to suppress it. and then it sort of just backfired on me. it's always like this when i have my incoming pe****. i start to look really pissed when i'm not. dont you ever feel that way? (addressed to girls only haha) like when you just think of the past, or listen to an emo song, and then you'll start to tear a little, sniff a little. or when people laugh at you, you pull a long face and keep quiet all night. it's miserable. why do we have to suffer emotional roller coasters like these anyway? to be fair, guys should get a little of it too. on second thought, that would be pretty scary. imagine your guy friend crying whenever the song FOREVER LOVE comes on. like, eww right. lol. anyway, i think i scared justina, keli and huifang a little that night. they looked a little uncomfortable.
finally made a visit to my grandma's place on friday, to spend the night there. her cooking was as usual, fab. :)) new 2007 resolution- visit my ahma whenever i can.

i was a walking zombie last night. walking around town, in fact. it was a bad idea to go shopping after trng. was practically suicide. but we enjoyed ourselevs, didnt we? hahaha. had lunch at far east, then HAPPY FEET at cathay. guess who we bumped into? you'll never be able to guess in a million years. just a few hrs back, she abandoned us at the changing rooms, cos she had to meet "someone". and then, my oh my, we bumped into her and xiao zong at cathay. LOL. see! it's fate. felix came by to watch HAPPY FEET with us too, but due to unforeseen circumstances, jinyu and felix had to sit three seats away from us. the show was cute, but predictable. the music was fab though, esp brittany murphy's singing! boogie wonderland. LOL. our legs hurt so bad, we couldnt keep our eyes open, i almost wanted to lay down on the pavement and die. that was when steven lim (that irritating eyebrow plucker cum artise wannabe) popped right infront of us. yupp, thats right, we just walked away. haha. i just love to see his crestfallen face. WOOHOO! :D i'm an bad egg, i know.everyone's gone for LTC, i feel like i have no life, i need to get a job!

today's trng was a teeny weeny bit more special than usual, cos we had street soccer instead. FUTSAL. was quite happy that we didnt need to wear boots. and so, we headed down to yiochukangpri, cos coach booked the court there, and basically we tried some juggling, shooting, and then twoside. we drew, so there was a penalty shootout. like, LOL. the ball had to be placed on this circle, and it was like only one metre or so away from the keeper? hahaha. that made it virtually impossible to save balls, unless you have godlike reaction time. btw, all 5 of us (me, pris, jinyu, keli and cheng) scored. so, we won! hurrays.
dinner(outside sch AGAIN) was pretty bad. like, UGH.
was harrased by the monster EUNICE today. she's scary! grabbed my left wrist and repeatedly fingering my back. do not get close to her. haha.

if you take a look at some of the soccerettes, you'd find that most of us have severe dark eye circles and tend to be a lil 'zombiefied'. hahaha. the result of an endless mahjong marathon. they came over to my place at nine pm, and we played MJ all the way until seven thirty in the morning. talk about dedication huh. but surprise surprise! there was only one round. hahaha. cos the first game(dong) lasted for like three hrs. lol. i look forward to future MJ marathons. but dont ask eunice as a KAKI! she'll gobble up all your money. yes, she's a mahjong pro. i lost like $5.80 to her. roars. only slept for like three hours before getting ready for PT. i'm enjoying PT more than usual trngs, which is kind of surprising. when we started our warm up run i was like trying to hold back the curry noodles eunice cooked at 4 am. it was churning, and churning, and churning. justina even puked in the loo. hahaha. after PT, jinyu wowed us with her amazing pole dancing skills. she's a really good dancer, haha, she clubs.
:D then we all headed to town, and had fabulous ramen at fareast. eunice's excellent recommendation. the side dishes are kinda on the expensive side though. huifang and pris also had their virgin FRIED MARS BAR! :) good stuff. had some FBT shopping at plaza sing's carrefour.
it's always a nice experience towning with justina, cos we would be always scanning for eyecandies on the streets. seven out of ten guys we clicked at would be foreigners. that says alot abt our local guys huh. last night we, along with the other soccerettes saw loads of bungs and we kept making this punching action whenever we spotted one. hilarious stuff.
due to my stubborness and lack of cash, jinyu and i decided to hike all the way back to far east to catch the 105 bus. our legs hurt, but it wasnt for nothing. you know why? cos just as we walked to that bus stop opp far east, i spotted a couple leaning on a board. so i just randomly commented that they look like a young, cute couple. then jinyu said that that guy looked like yingkai(LJJ). within one metre of distance to them it finally dawned on me that it was really yingkai and a girl from nanyang. hahaha. i was trying not to laugh. they were like so embarrassed to see us, cos i was in my nanyang pe tee and i knew they recognized us. lol. we caught them on a date jinyu! muahaha. when the bus came, i think they wanted to take it, but when they saw jinyu and i queuing too, they decided to walk to the next bus stop to take a later bus. lol. they were like so shy, they even walked seperate ways and then walked tgt again after we got on the bus and were not 'visible' anymore. awww. hahaha. we are mean.

after the "scary" movie the three of us(yupp, us three again, limited social circle hahaha) had a feast at CARTEL! havent had good food in a loooong while. have been torturing myself with the kopitiam food(ugh) and NY canteen food(double ugh). the kopitiam has served its purpose as nanyang's second canteen, cos its filled with truckloads of hungry brown beasts each day. i mean, seriously la, the canteen food is not meant for humans to eat. whats worse is that SOUPY place is closed for the time being. the gigantic fishballs. hoped to see xinni at gardens cartel, but no such luck. hahaha.

arrived at school today at seven. SEVEN! when trng starts at eight. like o.o but the smart me went to 7-11 to buy a chocolate donut. muahaha. and then i made myself comfy and watched the teachers have their 2.4 run. woohoo. tommy lee, of course led the way, and mark lim was close behind. ballack heng wasnt that bad either. i saw seq running too. almost laughed out loud can. he runs in a wierd way. and mr mao, haiyo, run slower than lin zong yan lehh. disgrace. hahaha. i know i shouldnt be laughing at teachers, but , ah. it's okay to do so once in a while.

dang trng was tiring today. is the haze returning? pfffttt. i think i am addicted to the kopitiam XIAO HUO GUO(mini steamboat) it's really good. i just found out that the holidays have alr started. dammit. it doesnt feel like holidays at all can. no festive mood. all because of stupid PW. will it ever end? it's damn time consuming and pointless la. just remove it from our education system! muahaha.

everything has been happening too fast for me to handle. that tragic day, it rained. perhaps someone up there knew how upset all of us were. it hurts to see people crying. esp people you care for. yongjin and kelvin (although i know you guys prob wont be reading this), take care okay? although you shrug it off and pretend that you're okay, vowing to get into the honour roll next yr. i looked at sheri, and we were at a loss for words. kelvin, my pri sch fren until now. i cannot accept it. all the way from pri 3 until now, you've been in the same school, sometimes same class as me. why does life have to make a fool out of all of us? please, make me understand.
before i could recover, i was dealt another blow. my worst nightmare came true. i saw keli crying, and then everyone started crying. i think i scared quite a number of people when i ran into the loo with my tear-streaked face. dearest keli and jinyu, dont be scared. we are here for you. regardless of what has happened, stay strong okay? :)

L is a freak who puts tons of sugar cubes in his coffee and uses a lollipop to stir it. and then rushed to get new boots at sportslink. the pink puma one didnt have my size, so i just got the nike one. felt quite numb alr. was late for trng, but coach wasnt mad, so yeah i was pretty surprised . was pretty stoned throughout trng, and had to correct my passes. only until the two sided game when i lost control of my emotions and pushed myself hard. was really tired after trng. so i just left.

it's saturday the fourteenth. and so, yesterday was friday the thirteenth. coincidentally, it was NANYANG OPEN HSE! surprisingly, truckloads of sec 4 and other crashers came. in drones of tens and twenties. is our school THAT appealing? anyway, saw loads of XINMIN juniors, some familiar ones. when i spoke to them, and told them i was from XINMIN too, they said YEAH WE KNOW! lol. taksheng and his friends dropped by too.
it was really hard getting girls to try our 50 second shootout challenge, cos most of them were quite freaked out by the idea of kicking balls. yupp, it was challenging. but some girls were quite game, i realise, and they can really shoot. and so, we kinda encouraged them to come to nanyang and join our team. haha. juniors are fun.
and then, it was nearing sunset hours, and we all watched the RUGBY friendly with SRJC. ruggers are manly. haha. and i was quite shocked to see kelvin play, cos i forgot he joined rugby. the number 17. and he can really run fast la. the soccerettes were like amazed at his godlike speed. woohoo. lol. cringed at how he was tossed ard by the SR ruggers. so small sized la. eunice said he bounced on the field. LOL. GO KELVIN!
hammie didnt drop by, so we played a lil street soccer, and then justina and i went back to my place to wash up. andthen we shared a cab with KELI and went to CITYLINK! :D met esther and melinda and had a lovely dinner at NEW YORK NEW YORK. very nice place. you could have free flow of cotton candy! :0 we celebrated justina's and my birthday tgt, and they gave me very nice presents! a new bag, and a scrapbk. the whole scrapbk was filled with my unglam pics and some heartfelt words from them. :D :D pictures later when i get them from justina.

HAHAHA. he's laughing at himself. goodness. anyway, we completed our WR in four hrs, by just sitting in the com lab and typing furiously away. hopefully, this PW cycle will be over soon, and then the cheena people can take their CHINESE 'A's and i can PARTAAYYEEEE! lol. dont smack me, i suffered under higher chinese alr. it's sweet revenge.
i think theres gna be SOCCER meeting tmr or on wed, to discuss abt THAT ISSUE. hope all goes well, dont wish fer any misunderstandings to happen. it all really boils down to our losing streak this yr. how long is this gonna continue? i really have no idea. i just want all of us to be happy, to go to trng with a smile on our faces. and not, sulks and frowns. this isnt what a beautiful game is supposed to be, right? aye, we'll see.

it's surreal. before you know it, it's over. you're done, with the BIGGEST obstacle this yr. i wasnt exactly thrilled, but it's better now, without all the cramming. day in, day out. is this the kind of life we want to pursue? i didnt have the energy to think anymore. so, i just tried to have a life. this past month has been a nightmare, i was just an emotionless soul trying to fit every set of lecture notes, every tutorial, every word the teacher said, into that brain of mine. i didnt have a
life. and so, after my hist paper, for the first time in ages, i caught a movie. I WATCHED A MOVIE! goodness. rob-b-hood made me laugh. i didnt get to hear my own laughter for a long long while. HURRAY SHERI WE HAVE A LIFE NOW! :D
after the nice show and all, met up with PRIS JINYU AND JUSTINA for PRAAATTTTAAA! prata mania. over the course of the meal, jinyu told me some shocking things that made me lose my appetite for a bit. well, the first thing i knew was that oliver had quitted school, and then the second was sth abt soccer. was in a state of shock, and then we talked abt stuff.

the darn pw cycle is coming to an end, with our WR almost settled and OP arriving after promos. just like what carol said, it's a complete waste of time. irrelevant and totally unnecessary. but then again, i did it with two wonderful people. (carol wong mui kee and han yanyi! lol.)hahaha. yes, my grp members add up to a total of 3 people. 3 girls, to be exact. dont ask me why, long story.

took a breather and saw these kids kicking on the field. looked quite zai. hahaha. asked jinyu and justina to take a look, and it turned out that jinyu played with those kids before! lol. hence we trooped down to the big lousy green field and took the kids on.

the whole experience was hilarious, we couldnt stop laughing. cos the kids, no taller than my shoulder, kept faking us. haha. humiliating. but then lianfei and his friend joined in and things got better. we scored some, they scored some. i think we were attracting some attention, cos this pugi guy and his friend randomly joined us and it was this one whole big hilarious football frenzy.

the kids kept saying they had to go home by 6.30 pm.

yesterday was cool, but felt bad to let kelvin and the rest wait 2 hours before the friendly game. some guy, i think his name is kwang yit, even bought a new PE tee to play with us! hahaha. see. we are high in demand. hahaa, no la. anyway, i think both sides played well, but they did pull back a little la. afterall, they are gentlemen who wont go rough on girls. i think. hahah.

trng was especially tough, dont know why. and we did a record-breaking 155 scissors.
